Gift Certificates:

An Orchard Inn gift certificate is the perfect gift for a wedding, graduation, anniversary, birthday, Christmas, or just to show someone how special they are.

You may purchase a Certificate either in a specific dollar amount or for a specific stay in a certain room by calling us at 207.846.9488 or by emailing us your request.

Our Policies:

Check-in and Check-out:

Standard check-in is 3:00pm to 7:00pm unless previously arranged.  Check-out time is 11:00am.  We can store your bags for afternoon departures.

Breakfast:

  Breakfast is available from 8 to 10am. Our delicious breakfasts may include garden vegetable omelets, lobster quiche, blueberry pancakes, freshly baked scones, granola and cereal, homemade yogurt, or special guest requests. 

Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available at all times.

Rates:

Rates quoted are for double occupancy. In rooms that can accommodate them, additional guests (including children six years old and above), are $25 per person per night. 

We are open April 1st, 2009 and will take reservations through November 1st, 2009.

Payment and Deposit:

We accept payment by cash, check, Visa and Mastercard. 

A deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. One night requires prepayment in full. Two or more nights require 50% deposit of total stay. All deposits include a 7% Maine state room tax.

A fee of $25 will be charged for returned checks.

Minimum Stay:

A two-night minimum stay is highly suggested for Fridays and Saturdays and may be required on some weekends.  On those ‘required’ weekends, a $50 supplemental fee will be charged for

one night reservations.

Cancellation or Shortening of Stay:

Because we do not overbook as hotels do, and last-minute changes are costly for us, we require at least ten days’ notice in the event of cancellation.  Cancellation or shortening of a stay with less than ten days’ notice will incur the full reservation amount

unless we are able to rebook the rooms. 

Whole Inn Rental Deposit and Cancellation:

A 50% deposit is required at time of reservation. 

We require a 30 day notice of cancellation for full refund of deposit, less a $25 service fee

Children:

In consideration of other guests we ask that young children be well-behaved and under direct parental supervision at all times, and that infants be sleeping (or at least quiet) through the night before being brought to stay at the Orchard Inn.

Pets:

Due to sensitivities of family members and some guests we are not able to have dogs or cats of our own, and, unfortunately, are unable to accommodate guest pets.

Smoking:

The Orchard Inn and the majority of our grounds are smoke-free.  Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas.
